Retreats
I’m an embodied movement facilitator, sound therapist, and trainee psychotherapist, and I run retreats across the UK and worldwide. Each retreat is carefully tailored to its location, blending the environment, local culture, and energy with practices designed to nurture body, mind, and soul. I work with small groups, creating an intimate, supportive space for each guest.
My teaching integrates vinyasa, hatha, yin, restorative yoga, somatics, and yoga nidra, with a focus on embodiment, nervous system awareness, and intuitive pacing. Retreats combine energising movement, deeply restorative practices, meditation, reflection, and sound healing, offering guests a balance of activity and rest.
I also offer sound baths aligned with lunar cycles and optional 1:1 sessions, using gongs, crystal bowls, and drums to support deep rest, emotional balance, and nervous system regulation. My aim is for guests to leave grounded, regulated, and more at home within themselves, while also having time to relax, explore, laugh, and simply be.
I will be back hosting and running retreats in 2027, for now I’m focusing on local day events & 1:1 work.

April is an exceptional teacher, offering mindful, elemental-inspired yoga classes that seamlessly weave together multiple yoga disciplines. Her extensive experience, combined with her trauma-informed, gentle, and ego-free approach, made every class accessible and enjoyable. I particularly loved April’s sound baths — the 1:1 sessions are not to be missed if you have the opportunity

I’ve just had the most wonderful experience with Adventure Yogi at Carsington Water. I couldn’t imagine a better instructor than April who led us with warmth, compassion and humour, dealing with our various levels of knowledge and ability without, (it seemed!), any trouble.
